Air Solution Company Filter Screens (Med. Duty, HD Commercial Grade, Industrial Grade and Pulley Mount Filters) are constructed of a highly flame retardant HVAC engineered mesh media which has self extinguishing properties – It does not hold or propagate a flame however, any mesh that holds a flame long enough to set another strand on fire can transfer a flame from one strand to another until if finally extinguishes itself.
The melt point for the filter mesh is approx. 315 degrees Fahrenheit (157.22 degrees Celsius) and the Auto Ignition temperature is 572 degrees Fahrenheit., (300 degrees Celsius).
